Projects for Latin America – Consulting in Fisheries and Aquaculture
Sustainability and maritime development: IFFS projects for financing in decent work and occupational safety
The sustainability of marine resources and worker well-being in fisheries and aquaculture are key challenges in Latin America. At K-ASIC Consultorías, we design projects for IFFS financing that address decent work, occupational health and safety issues through practical solutions such as the provision of specialized equipment and training programs.
Our experience ranges from the formalization of artisanal fishermen and the strengthening of unions, to the management of regulations and maritime concessions in different countries in the region. Through strategic alliances with local and international entities, we promote the development of projects that improve working conditions, strengthen security and foster sustainability in coastal communities and maritime industries.
Latin America: Innovation and Sustainability

Safety Consulting for Fishing Diving Cooperatives in Mexico
In alliance with CONAPESCA and the Fishermen's Divers Cooperatives from various states of Mexico, we carried out a safety diagnosis to identify operational risks, equipment needs and training opportunities. Based on this survey, we design strategic solutions and manage their implementation through project applications to IFFS, ensuring the necessary funding for the execution of safety and training pilots.
- Risk identification in fishing diving: Assessment of specific hazards in underwater extractive activity.
- Custom Solutions Design: Development of equipment and training plans adapted to each region.
- Financing management: Application of projects to IFFS to raise funds.
- Pilot execution: Implementation of safety equipment and specialized training with monitoring of results.
